About Us

Role

East Kent has a strong and increasingly diverse track record of fruitful partnership working. Effective collaboration and a shared commitment to the future among businesses, statutory agencies, charitable bodies and community groups have already delivered ground breaking successes. In addition the four districts in East Kent are making rapid strides forward in sharing the management of core local authority business, delivering higher quality, more resilient services to their communities, at less cost.

The East Kent Local Strategic Partnership (East Kent LSP) is a further demonstration of partnership in action. Made up of businesses, local authorities, health trusts, the police and a range of other key stakeholders, it provides a single focus and a single voice for East Kent. The East Kent LSP aims to forge agreement on local needs and priorities and help direct the resources of partner organisations accordingly.
